Potassium Bitartrate (Cream of Tartar) Powder, NF - Bulk Scales } 25mL burette with generalPotassium Bitartrate (Cream of Tartar), powder, NF. Used as a seeding agent to promote tartrate precipitation in cold stabilization. Add to wine at the rate of 3 5 grams per gallon, followed by vigorous stirring. Stir the batch daily. It is not a substitute for chilling the wine, but will aid in getting tartrates to drop out faster at any otherwise effective temperature. Multiple quantities are available.
