On tasting there is a creamy texture balanced by the acidity
Domaine Billon Côte-Rôtie ‘La Vialliere’ Louis Roederer and more earth‑drivenIt opens with aromas of blackberry, black cherry, and blueberry, intertwined with classic CteRtie notes of violet, smoked meat, and cracked black pepper. On the palate, it is medium to fullbodied, structured, and intensely mineral, showing flavors of dark berry fruit, plum skin, and savory spice, supported by firm, refined tannins and vibrant acidity. The schistrich soils of La Viallire contribute a distinctive graphite, iron, and smoky mineral edge.
