dancers practicing at the barre seine Artist : Axel Fredrik CederholmA fantastic poster featuring the painting Dancers Practicing at the Barre created in 1877 by the iconic artist Edgar Degas, whose signature we can see on the wall molding in the painting. In the picture we see two ballerinas practicing at the barre. On the left we also see a water jug which was a standard in the ballet's rehearsal rooms; water was sprinkled on the floor to prevent dust from rising when ballerinas danced. Degas also used the watering
