Dilao: Urban and Cultural History of Paco History and Social Studies Making stops in North andPaco is one of the oldest districts of Manila. Its genesis dates back from the middle of the 16* century when the Franciscan missionaries created the mission of Dilao in the sitio of Balete just across the moat outside the Walled City and near the estuary of the same name.
